10 Best WWE 2K25 Finishers, Ranked

The WWE 2K games typically give players hundreds, if not thousands, of moves to choose from when building out a moveset. But finishers are special. These are moves designed to signify to the audience that it’s all over but the crying. But which Finishers are the best in WWE 2K25 this year?

Before we move on to the list, let’s clarify some things. For one, no finisher does more damage than another. No matter which move you choose, it’s gonna hurt your opponent. Secondly, to keep it as simple as possible, I haven’t added any Super Finishers into this list. Obviously, anything with a “super” modifier is going to look cooler and more devastating. But I figured it’d be way more fun to choose from normal, bog standard finishing moves.

Without further ado, here are the 10 best finishers in WWE 2K25.

10 Best WWE 2K25 Finishers

10. End Of Days 1

Baron Corbin may no longer be with WWE, but his End of Days finisher remains part of the game. Once one of the most protected moves in the entire company, Corbin made a huge name for himself using the End of Days. And if he hit and went for the pin, the match was almost certainly over.

Done by rotating an opposing wrestler around your arm to where their back is pointed at the ring then rotating them violently forward to where their face slams against the mat, the End of Days looks great and will always get you pumped when you hit.

9. The Stomp 2

Seth Rollins’ finishing move The Stomp — formerly known as the Curb Stomp — is one of the most devastating finishers in wrestling. Overall, it’s a simple move, requiring a practitioner to simply jump up and drive an opponent’s head into the canvas with their foot. But it looks insane, so much so that WWE even briefly banned it for a period of time and refrained from showing any clips of the move being done in the past.

A good thing about this finisher is that not only does it look good, but it can be done with anyone, to anyone, regardless of size.

8. ObLIVion

Always one of WWE’s most highly-touted homegrown talents, Liv Morgan has quickly ascended to being one of WWE’s most popular and recognizable stars, mostly due to her longterm feud with Rhea Ripley. Another big part of her success is due to her unique finisher, the ObLIVion.

The move is done against an opponent who’s leaning against the ropes by jumping up, grabbing their body, then driving their head full force into the mat. It’s simple, and not as pretty as others on the list, but it’s effective and I’ve always liked it as a move.

7. RKO 1

No list about iconic finishers would be complete with mention of the RKO, Randy Orton’s beloved ad long-meme’d finish. In practice, it’s merely a cutter, which has been done by several wrestlers in the past such as “Diamond” Dallas Page and Bubba Ray Dudley. By Orton’s fluidity and penchant for hitting it out of nowhere is what has given the move its legendary status over the years.

There are different variations of the RKO in WWE 2K25, but my favorite is the first one. The elevation you get on the initial jump, as well as the violent impact, just look amazing.

6. Avalanche Pedigree 2

I know I mentioned that I wasn’t going to include any Super Finishers in this list. And yeah, the Avalanche Pedigree is technically one of those. But it’s also a recreation of one of my favorite moves of all time — the Pepsi Plunge.

Popularized by CM Punk during his days on the indies and Ring of Honor before signing with WWE, the Pepsi Plunge is basically a Pedigree from the top rope. For licensing purposes, the name of the move can’t be retained. Even so, it’s awesome. And you should totally add it to one of your finisher slots.

5. Shooting Star 3

All of the moves we’ve listed to this point have been general finishers that can be performed by anyone. But what about the high-flyers? Well, we’ve got you covered. The Shooting Star Press is one of those timeless moves. And if you’re the athletic, acrobatic type, then this is a finisher that will always get a pop from the crowd.

Innovated by the legendary Jushin Liger and made popular in the States by Billy Kidman, the Shooting Star Press is basically a reverse senton where the one doing the move flips backward instead of forward, eventually splashing onto their opponent stomach first. There are a few variations of the move in WWE 2K25, but the Shooting Star 3 gives you great elevation and a super fluid motion.

4. Sister Abigail 2

It’s not the prettiest, nor is it the most devastating. But for some reason, there is something so violent and disturbing about grabbing an opponent, leaning them back, giving them a kiss goodnight, then driving their face into the mat as hard as one can.

Popularized by the late, great Bray Wyatt and still practiced by his brother Bo Dallas (known as Uncle Howdy), the Sister Abigail is one of wrestling’s most beloved moves. If you were as big a fan of Bray as I was, use Sister Abigail 2 as a tribute to Wyatt as this one is complete with the creepy upside walk.

3. GTS 3

In case you can’t tell, I’m a massive CM Punk fan. And his finisher, the Go to Sleep, is one of my favorite moves. Originally innovated by Kenta in Japan, Punk’s finish involves lifting an opponent onto one’s shoulders in the fireman carry position, launching them off, then driving a knee into their face. Short, sweet, brutal, and effective.

There are a few different versions of the Go to Sleep in the game, each with differing animations and speeds. But aesthetically speaking, I love the GTS 3 and have even given it to my created wrestler in-game.

2. Punt Kick 1

For a second, let’s cast aside something looking intricate or cool as a prerequisite for being a finishing move. Let’s think practically: What’s a great finish suited to ending a match immediately that doesn’t require any theatrics or nonsense? If you were thinking about running at full speed and punting someone in the face, congrats!

A finisher made famous by Randy Orton, the Punt Kick is exactly what it sounds like. You go to the corner, initiate the finish while your opponent is grounded, then watch as your wrestler runs full steam ahead and kick the daylights out of the unfortunate recipient. It’s been a minute since we’ve seen it on WWE television due to how dangerous the move is, but in WWE 2K25, you can do it as you please.

1. Package Piledriver

Yeah, the Punt Kick is dangerous and all. But it isn’t actually banned. So why not wrap this piece up with a move that is banned in WWE canon?

The piledriver is one of wrestling’s most classic moves, involving a wrestler lifting up their opponent vertically before spiking them on their head. It’s such a dangerous move that WWE (in its fictional on-screen universe) has banned the move, with the only exemptions being both Undertaker and Kane who perform the Tombstone Piledriver, as well as Jerry “The King” Lawler. The piledriver has even become a current trope on WWE TV with Kevin Owens performing the move on several top guys and putting them out of action.

But instead of a vanilla piledriver, choose the Package Piledriver. In addition to picking your opponent up vertically, your wrestler will cradle their arms as well, giving the move an even more brutal aesthetic.
