Granblue Fantasy: Relink Shows Gran and Rackam in Spectactual Action JRPG Gameplay

After many years in the making, the action JRPG Granblue Fantasy: Relink is finally close to its release, and Cygames has started to showcase its individual characters.

The developer has released two gameplay trailers on its official Twitter accounts, starting with the game’s main hero, Gran,

The video shows off his main moves, which are quite spectacular.

Gran excels in close combat, and he’s voiced by Kyle McCarley in English and Yuki Ono in Japanese (whom you can hear in the Japanese version of the video)

You may know Ono-san as Josuke Higashikata in the JoJo series and Taiga Kagami in Kuroko’s Basketball.

The next trailer features one of Granblue Fantasy’s most classic characters, the Grandcypherì’s helmsman Rackam.

He’s armed with two guns to blast enemies at any range and he’s voiced by Kyle Hebert in English and Hiroaki Hirata in Japanese.

You may know Hirata-san for voicing Vergil in Devil May Cry 5, Balthier in Final Fantasy XII, Klein in Sword Art Online, and more.

You can find the video in English below and the Japanese version on X (formerly Twitter).

Incidentally, a livestream showcasing the game will happen tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. Japan Time, including English subtitles.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink is launching on February 1, 2024, for PS5, PS4, and PC. If you’d like a physical copy, you can pre-order it on Amazon.

For those who want an early taste of the game, you’ll soon be able to enjoy a demo releasing sometime this month, but only on PS5 and PS4. We’re likely to hear the release date tomorrow.

The Grannblue Fantasy franchise has also been recently featured in the fighting game Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, which appears to be very successful
