Ilkan Karaman has died at the age of 34: a former player who also played in the EuroLeague with the jersey of Fenerbahce, a club where he played from 2012 to 2014. During his career, he was also selected by the Brooklyn Nets in the NBA with the No. 57 pick in the 2012 draft, but never played an official game overseas. Playing at the power forward position , Karaman was a regular in Turkey’s youth teams and even played for the senior team in the qualifying matches for Eurobasket 2013 , averaging 10.5 points and 5.8 rebounds in 10 games played.
