Antonio Venuto will captain the Merrimack men’s hockey team this season. Mark Hillier, Harrison Roy, and Tyler Young will be alternate captains.
Venuto is a fifth-year senior from Ferris State. He joined the Warriors after a 26-point season with the Bulldogs.
Roy, another fifth-year senior, was one of Lake Superior’s captains last season. A Massachusetts native, he previously played at Boston College.
Young will wear an “A” as a junior. He missed a chunk of last season with an injury.
Hillier will miss the first several months of this season with a lower-body injury. He could return later in the year, or he’d have the option to use the season as a medical redshirt if he cannot make it back into the lineup.
