Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection PC and Switch Release Date Revealed

Konami has revealed the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection release date, as well as three more games that will be included as part of the retro card-battler collection.

In a notice on its official website, Konami confirms that Early Days Collection will launch on February 27th on both Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, bringing “several retro Yu-Gi-Oh! digital titles from the late 1990s and early 2000s” to modern systems.

The collection was first revealed back in February, at which point it was also confirmed that the package would include games that have only previously been released in Japan. Three more of the collection’s games have been announced today as well.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection is a retro card battler fan’s dream.

Joining the list of games already confirmed for Early Days Collection are Game Boy Advance titles The Eternal Duelist SoulThe Sacred Cards, and Reshef of Destruction, all of which have previously been available outside of Japan.

Here’s a list of the games Konami has currently confirmed will be part of Early Days Collection.

  • Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters
  • Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters II: Dark Duel Stories
  • Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories
  • Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelist
  • Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6, Expert 2
  • Yu-Gi-Oh! The Eternal Duelist Soul
  • Yu-Gi-Oh! The Sacred Cards
  • Yu-Gi-Oh! Reshef of Destruction

It sounds like there are a number of other games still yet to be revealed, too, as Konami has promised to unveil the full lineup “at a later date”. You’ll be eating well if you’re a Yu-Gi-Oh! fan.

Yu-Gi-Oh! is still going strong in gaming thanks to games like Master Duel.

As well as collecting several early Yu-Gi-Oh! titles, Early Days Collection will also offer modern features like sharper visuals, new backgrounds, and a save-load feature to augment what could apparently be a pretty brutal difficulty curve for some of these games.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection launches across PC and Nintendo Switch on February 27th. We don’t know if it’s coming to other platforms as well just yet.
