Three-game EIHL spread across league and cup

There’s a three-game spread on Sunday afternoon to bring Week 7’s action in the 2024/25 season to a close.

Things start in Nottingham at 4pm, where the Panthers face Belfast Giants. The hosts are playing their second home game of the weekend and looking to bounce back after a 5-2 defeat to Dundee on Saturday night. Belfast also come in looking to get back to winning ways after being beaten 6-4 on home ice by Coventry Blaze on Saturday.

POSTPONED – At 5.30pm, Coventry Blaze host Cardiff Devils. The Blaze are the only unbeaten team in League play, but head back into Cup action against the Welsh side. One team will end with a four-point weekend: the Blaze were winners in Belfast on Saturday night, while the Devils won narrowly against Manchester. Coventry could make it a six-point week if they take a win.

The day’s action ends in Guildford where the Flames take on Sheffield Steelers, also in the Cup. Guildford come out of Fife with a 7-4 win on Saturday night, while Sheffield had a big third period to beat Glasgow Clan 6-3. The Steelers won the only other meeting between the teams this season.
