As The Twenty-Sided Tavern continues to make a big name for itself off-broadway at Stage 42 in New York City. After having confirmed guests such as Aabria Iyengar, Erika Ishii, and Felicia Day today another special guest was announced. Travis McElroy, of ‘The Adventure Zone’ and ‘My Brother, My Brother and Me’, will be appearing at the Twenty-Sided Tavern for seven “special Thanksgiving performances.”
The Twenty-Sided Tavern is a Dungeons & Dragons stage production that sees Dungeon Master, David Andrew Greener Law (DAGL), and Tavern Keeper, Sarah Davis Reynolds, work with experienced improvisational actors and plenty of crowd input to make their way through a one-shot every night. The crowd gets to decide what types of characters make up the party, what path the party should take, and are even able to assist them with completing skill contests through the use of mobile app integration. Even from your seat your voice can make a difference.
On the announcement of Travis McElroy joining for a week David Carpenter, Executive Producer and Creator, had the following to say
We are so excited that we are getting the opportunity to play with the amazing Travis McElroy. His incredible storytelling and larger-than-life personality bring a whole new energy to our show. We can’t wait to see how his The Adventure Zone spirit and passion for D&D blend into the world we’ve built on stage. It’s going to be something truly special.
Travis McElroy’s run will be from November 27th until December 1st.
