- Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road is dormant no longer as we’re finally set to receive a concrete release date
- An upcoming livestream from the folks at Level-5 will give us that, and a look at gameplay
- Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road will feature a story mode and thousands of returning characters
Longtime readers will recall that we’ve been waiting for an upcoming mobile adaptation of the hit football RPG Inazuma Eleven to hit storefronts for a while now. But happily, we’re finally set to receive some real, concrete details on Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road in an upcoming livestream from the folks at Level-5 set to air on April 11th!
Inazuma Eleven should need little introduction, as this fast-paced, action-oriented series sees the sport of football elevated to truly ridiculous heights. How silly? Well, Raimon High’s titular eleven-man football team goes from duking it out with skilled private school kids to aliens by the second entry.
Fortunately, Victory Road promises to be a little more grounded. However, it’s been a long while since we heard the news and got our hands on a demo, but Level-5 promises this upcoming livestream will give us both a release date and our glimpse at a final gameplay demonstration.
Goooal!
Victory Road is set to offer both a story mode following the creation of a new Inazuma Eleven team, and Chronicles mode which will flash back to some top matchups from previous releases with over 5000 characters to meet! I’m sure that even Inazuma Eleven fanatics reading this will be surprised by some of the appearances.
More than that, we’ve also got Bond Town which lets you create your own little town for your team to inhabit where you can place both objects and characters. Play football, minigames, or just pair up with other players to hang out and relax!
Still, I doubt we’ll be seeing Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road for a little while yet, as the most recent timeframe was set as sometime in June.
