Here is the complete Festival Series 44 guide for Forza Horizon 5. We will walk you through all the rewards and special items for sale in the Forzathon Shop, as well as the different events and challenges you will face in this series.
This series brings four new weeks of challenges to FH5 and gives us a range of rewards to get through collecting points throughout the different seasons. The Festival Playlist keeps FH5 exciting and brings us new events. That said, Series 44 is the first time a series has been repeated, and the drivers got to vote for which series they wanted to return to.
Bug Update: Developers have released another HotFix update as of March 12. This should fix all issues with awarding points in previous seasons. There are reports that there are still small bugs in the latest update.
Festival Playlist Series 44 Main Information
The new Festival Playlist is titled “High-Performance” and will run from the 27th of February till the 27th of March. The Series 20 Festival Playlist had the same name and almost identical challenges, so if you have been playing this game for a while, you will be familiar with these tasks. One aspect that drivers are annoyed about is that not all the rewards are the same. Instead of the Ferrari 599XX as a Season Progress Milestone, we see the Porsche 911 GT3 RS4 ’12.
There is some controversy currently in the new festival in that a few of the challenges are not working. Some players have reported that certain challenges were already completed. People suspect it could be due to the challenges being the same as Series 20, and that these drivers may have completed them before. Even more infuriating is that a few challenges (Trial, Event Lab, Seasonal Championships) are not counted as completed, even after completing them a number of times.
Playground devs have addressed this and are giving constant updates on their development which they are labeling as their “top priority.” So, I assume this issue will be fixed soon.
In addition, Forza has come out and said, “All players will be gifted the Huracán STO and a Horizon Backstage Pass, and players that earned enough Playlist Points will be able to redeem them after the hotfix as well. We are still working on the Treasure Hunt issue, but any players who completed an event in the Summer Season will receive this retroactively. Thank you for bearing with us.”
Unfortunately, players are reporting bugs in the new series too. Thankfully, Playground seem to be working quickly to fix this and they are making amends for players missing out on rewards.
