Budd Clark committed to Seton Hall out of the transfer portal on Tuesday.

The former Merrimack guard averaged 19.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 2.7 steals per game this season and was All-MAAC First Team.

Clark is currently one of three guards on Seton Hall’s roster for next season.

“I really loved the coaching staff,” Clark told NJ.com. “[Head coach] Sha[heen Holloway] seems like he can relate to me because he was a small guard, and I feel like I can develop my game there and they can get me to the next level.

“I’ll be a winner for them,” he said of Seton Hall. “I’ll bring energy on offense and defense and I’ll bring some wins for them.”
