The ECHL on Sunday announced that Kansas City Mavericks’ forward Cade Borchardt is the recipient of the 2024-25 AMI Graphics ECHL Plus Performer of the Year award after finishing the season with a plus-minus rating of +43.
Florida’s Jordan Sambrook finished second with a +37 rating, followed by Jayden Lee of South Carolina at +36, Kansas City’s Jake McLaughlin at +35 and Micah Miller of South Carolina at +33.
Borchardt posted an even or better rating in 47 of his 58 games, while earning a spot on the All-ECHL Second Team. He also led the ECHL with 40 goals while finishing ninth with 71 points and tied for fourth with eight game-winning goals.
