Allen urged to ‘call off wedding’ to Steinfeld due to Michael B Jordan – Football – Sports

NFL fans called on Josh Allen to call off his wedding to Hailee Steinfeld due to the actor’s chemistry with ‘Sinners’ co-star Michael B. Jordan.

Back in 2023, Allen was spotted on a date with Steinfeld in New York City. After a year of officially dating, the pair made their relationship Instagram official as the Buffalo Bills quarterback posted a carousel of photos of him and the actor in Paris.

Although the pair has tried to keep their romance out of the spotlight, Steinfeld spent a lot of time with Allen in Buffalo during the NFL season. In December, Allen and Steinfeld announced their engagement with a joint Instagram post while the pair have made oher public honors, including at NFL Honors in New Orleans.

Steinfeld has spoken of her love and admiration for Allen throughout their relationship and engagement and even revealed how warmly the city of Buffalo has embraced her. But her latest film ‘Sinners’ has been dominating the headlines as positive reviews have flooded in, while fans have questioned her relationship with Jordan.

The film features a captivating story, although it is Steinfeld and Jordan’s electrifying on-screen chemistry that primarily sparked conversations. While Jordan’s dual performance as twin brothers Smoke and Stack has been critically acclaimed, his on-screen relationship with Steinfeld’s character Mary is what has captured the attention of NFL fans.

“The chemistry is insane,” one fan posted on X (formerly Twitter). “Josh is gonna be SICK.”

“I know Hailee steinfeld and Micheal b Jordan f—–,” wrote another fan. “It’s over for Josh Allen.”

Another user posted: “I love Josh Allen with all my heart but if Hailee Steinfeld starts dating Michael B. Jordan, honestly not gonna get mad” – while another joked: “If I was Josh Allen, I would have called off the wedding.”

However, other fans were more realistic. One wrote: “It’s a movie… she’s an actress, get a life people.”

Allen accompanied Steinfeld to the ‘Sinners’ world premiere in New York City. He also praised the film, telling reporters: “It was a different world – a very cool experience… It’s a fantastic movie; so go watch it.”

Steinfeld certainly appears incredibly happy in her relationship with Allen. During a recent appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, Steinfeld enthusiastically praised Buffalo and her new connection to the city.

“I have been given a very warm welcome,” she said. “The people are incredible. It’s such a wonderful, wonderful place. I love it so much.”

While his fiancee takes over Hollywood, Allen has established himself as one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. The Bills star enjoyed a tremendous 2024 campaign, throwing for 3,731 yards and 28 touchdowns against just six interceptions while he posted an NFL-leading 77.3 QBR en route to his first MVP award.
