Aaron Rodgers and Danica Patrick dominated the headlines during their relationship from 2018 to 2020, even though the pair steered clear from controversy.
The duo split amicably midway through 2020 – even though Patrick was left “heartbroken” – after spending much of the early part of the COVID-19 pandemic quarantining together.
Speaking on the ‘Aubrey Marcus’ podcast in 2022, Rodgers detailed how he was grateful for both Patrick and the relationship. “I was dating Danica, and that relationship was great for me because she is on her own journey, and spirituality is important to her,” he said. “We both were finding our way, learning about different things [and] practicing meditation techniques.”
Rodgers admitted to Pat McAfee in late December that he is currently in a “serious relationship” but didn’t reveal the identity of his partner.
After Patrick, Rodgers began dating popular actress Shailene Woodley in 2021. He split from the former ‘Fault in Our Stars’ lead in 2022.
Patrick dated fellow NASCAR driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. from 2012 to 2017 before getting serious with Rodgers. It’s unclear if she’s single in 2025, though she did post a photo of her cozying up with an unknown man at Burning Man last fall.
Speaking with Bear Grylls on the ‘Running Wild with Bear Grylls’ podcast in 2021, Patrick also expressed gratitude for her relationship with Rodgers. “I think we learn the most about ourselves through relationships, but there’s nothing like heartbreak to really throw you in the deep end of that,” she said.
“But I’ve learned a lot, and as broken open as I was on the sad end, I have felt so much joy in so many more instances and so many more unlikely places than I ever have, so it’s like my heart got broken open to both ends of the spectrum.”

Rodgers is currently a free agent after spending the last two seasons with the New York Jets. All signs point towards the 41-year-old quarterback taking a job with the Pittsburgh Steelers to compete for their vacant starting job, especially after the franchise didn’t select a signal caller in the 2025 NFL Draft until the middle rounds.
