Indiana extended a scholarship to class of 2026 wing Sammy Jackson on Friday.
The 6-foot-7, 185-pound Jackson plays at Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia and for Team Final in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL).
Jackson is considered a four-star prospect and is ranked the No. 94 player nationally according to the 247Sports Composite.
In addition to landing the IU offer, Jackson has also set a visit to Bloomington. According to Dushawn London, Jackson plans to be in Bloomington June 13-14. In addition to the IU visit, Jackson also plans to visit Texas June 16-17, according to London.
As a junior at Roman Catholic, Jackson earned second-team All-state honors in Class 6A. He averaged 13.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.2 steals and made 51 3-pointers. He helped his team advance to the PIAA 6A championship game.
Jackson has a solid list of scholarship offers that also includes Arizona State, Auburn, Penn State, Vanderbilt, Villanova and several others.
