Indiana is among the top 30 teams nationally for the 2025-26 season, according to longtime college basketball reporter Andy Katz.
After a coaching change from Mike Woodson to Darian DeVries and a roster overhaul, the Hoosiers are No. 30 in Katz’s latest power 37 for the 2025-26 season, published earlier this week.
The Hoosiers are the tenth-highest-rated Big Ten team in Katz’s rankings.
Purdue leads the pack among Big Ten teams at No. 1 in Katz’s rankings.
Other Big Ten teams in the Power 37 include Michigan (No. 8), Oregon (No. 12), UCLA (No. 16), Illinois (No. 19), Wisconsin (No. 21), Michigan State (No. 24), USC (No. 27), Maryland (No. 28) and Ohio State (No. 31).
The Hoosiers are currently No. 38 in the latest projections for next season from Bart Torvik.
The top five teams in the Katz Power 37 are Purdue, Houston, St. John’s, UConn and Duke.
