New Zealand considers idea of Trans-Pacific 2038 FIFA World Cup with other Pacific countries and the United States.

It seems like FIFA could enforce the rotation policy so New Zealand is now considering doing a co-hosted World Cup with the United States. Other OFC members could join in as well, and for the US, the mainland and Hawaii could be considered.

From Los Angeles and San Francisco to Auckland, it's roughly 13 hours but only 9 hours from Honolulu.
