Danica Patrick has admitted that she is currently single after a revealing podcast appearance, coming just a few days after her bombshell claims about her former boyfriend Aaron Rodgers while using the terms ’emotionally abusive’.
Patrick had been with NFL legend Rodgers for two years before they broke up in 2020, with her dating since being with him, as she had been with businessman Carter Comstock.
However, Patrick, who now works with Sky Sports for their F1 coverage and was recently helping FOX Sports cover Indy 500 practice, has opened up on her current dating status.
Speaking to Haley Dillon, the wife of current NASCAR Cup Series driver Ty Dillon, Patrick was asked if she was single before stating: “Yeah”.
She went on to jokes on her sex life, while stating: “That makes me screwed… so screwed… not literally, either!”
Patrick also spoke of ‘wanting to have more fun’ in life, coming off the back of her appearance on a podcast with David Asprey, before being asked what gives her energy, replying: “Orgasms. That gives you energy as a woman.”
The 41-year-old has spoken of her personal life in recent weeks, after making accusations against Rodgers when speaking on The Sage Steele Show.
She said: “The breakup with Aaron in 2020 because it was sudden. It felt like it was my life. So when you live with somebody, it’s your whole life… and because the nature of the relationship was emotionally abusive, so that wore me down to nothing. Someone that you know, people could never imagine that I would lack any confidence or belief in the simple things about who I am.
“Everything was torn to bits. He leaves a trail of blood. I don’t think I’m saying too much earth-shattering stuff – there’s been enough out there. But it gave me the greatest gift, which is myself. It gave me the greatest gift of how much I needed to show up for myself and take care of myself.”

Meanwhile, Rodgers had spoken positively of Patrick when he spoke her last.
Speaking on the ‘Aubrey Marcus’ podcast in 2022, Rodgers detailed how he was grateful for both Patrick and the relationship. “I was dating Danica, and that relationship was great for me because she is on her own journey, and spirituality is important to her,” he said. “We both were finding our way, learning about different things [and] practicing meditation techniques.”
