Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 15 of his 35 points in the final five minutes as the Thunder tied the NBA Finals with a 111-104 victory in Game 4. The Thunder made only three three-pointers but stayed competitive, showed their defensive strength, and overcame a 10-point deficit.
Jalen Williams contributed 27 points, and Chet Holmgren had a strong fourth quarter, finishing with 14 points and 15 rebounds. Alex Caruso was once again a force off the bench with 20 points and five steals.
Pascal Siakam led the Pacers with 20 points, eight rebounds, five assists and five steals. Tyrese Haliburton added 18 points and seven assists, while Obi Toppin was again the best sixth man of the team with 17 points.
Here’s how NBA Twitter reacted to the Thunder victory:
Kobe type sequence by Shai here.
On the road. Grind out. High pressure. Must win Finals game. Pure composed buckets. pic.twitter.com/hejr3zgj0l

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: most points with no assists in a Finals win since Joe Fulks in 1947.
Gilgeous-Alexander had 35 points. Fulks had 37.
Last player to score 35 points without an assist in Finals was Jerry West in 1962, in a loss at Boston.

Final: Thunder 111, Pacers 104
For the second time in these playoffs, the Thunder truly had their backs against the wall, down in the fourth quarter on the road in Game 4 of a series they trailed.
And, for the second time in these playoffs, the Thunder found a way to survive.

Shai was far from perfect tonight, he was held mostly in check for 75% of the game, but if you have it in you or not to fight through for that last 25% is what legacies are built on

Season saving performance from Caruso. After Shai and J Dub they have no one else to create offense for themselves and Caruso kept them afloat long enough for Shai to close it out. https://t.co/ZXifJBaWck
