NHL free agency is upon us. The Rangers are expected to sign Vlad Gavrikov to a monster contract and then trade K’Andre Miller to make room. Will Cuylle is an RFA but that isn’t expected to get in the way of a contract. An offer sheet is unlikely unless it drags out.
To avoid the optics of tampering, nothing major has been announced yet. We all know tampering happens, just teams don’t want to “get caught,” whatever that means. Expect a flurry of activity at 1pm maybe?
