Covington acknowledged that he wasn’t in the living room after he had gone to his bedroom and didn’t see all that may have occurred between McLemore and the woman accusing McLemore of rape. “It’s none of my business. I literally watched something happen and because they’re adults, I removed myself,” Covington said.
