The relationship between Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson has taken another turn with rumors swirling about their engagement.
The Athletic reports that Hudson has confided to at least one person from her inner circle that she and Belichick are set to tie the knot. The North Carolina football coach’s romantic entanglements have been a hot topic lately, especially after Hudson’s cringeworthy interruption of a CBS News reporter during an interview meant to spotlight Belichick’s autobiography, ‘The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football.’
Hudson added fuel to the fire by launching into an odd tirade on social media, where she leaked a private email revealing Belichick‘s concerns about the negative publicity surrounding his book, and her alleged role in HBO abandoning the ‘Hard Knocks’ series centered on North Carolina football.
Amidst the ensuing media frenzy, Belichick has reportedly sought external assistance to take over Hudson’s role as his PR manager.
In a recent interview, Michael Strahan, the 73-year-old coach, was pressed about his personal life but chose to keep the focus away from it.
“A lot has been made about your relationship with Jordon Hudson, it’s been getting a lot of attention. She isn’t here this morning but what do you think of all the attention your relationship has been getting,” Strahan asked on ‘Good Morning America.’
Belichick deflected, simply stating: “She’s been terrific through the whole process.
“She’s been very helpful to me. She does the business things that don’t relate to North Carolina that come up in my life so I can concentrate on football. And that’s really what I want to do.
“She played a significant role in the book too, and really helped out with the tribute pages and in lending a business angle to it. Given sometimes I delve a bit too much into the nitty-gritty of football, she had a hand in making sure there was balance.”

However, when questioned further about Hudson by Strahan, Belichick responded firmly: “We have a good personal relationship. I’m not talking about personal relationships, Michael, you know that.”
Questions have been raised about how Belichick and Hudson first met. In a statement, Belichick reiterated that they met on a flight from Massachusetts to Palm Beach, Florida, in 2021. At that time, Belichick was going through a prolonged breakup with his longtime partner Linda Holliday, while Hudson was still in college at Bridgewater State University.
Since then, the couple has been supportive of each other’s endeavors. Hudson was spotted attending a North Carolina football practice, and Belichick cheered her on at the Miss Maine USA pageant.
