Have you spoken to him about his plans for the offseason at all, or do you just kind of let him be a man and figure it out on his own? Bobby Portis: I was actually going to hit him up in a couple of weeks just to let the season die down, because how we ended, that hurt. I ain’t going to lie. Like, being up, bro, and then you lose — especially the way we lost. And then what kind of made me feel better, for real, is that they did the same thing to the Cavs. I’m like, “Whoa, we ain’t that.” At first it was like only one out of a thousand took the cut off, you know what I’m saying? That was like two out of a thousand teams. So, we’re not solo, you feel me? Two out of a thousand is better than one. Not one — like, it’s two teams now. It’s not just one by itself. So, I do feel better in that regard. But I just think, man, that Giannis bleeds green, though. I think he bleeds green, man. I think he bleeds loyalty. I think he bleeds wanting that Tim Duncan, Kobe-type career, Steph Curry–type career, where they play with one franchise.
