Bryan Etumnu has been named the 2025 TMR Men’s Basketball Best Defensive Player.
Etumnu, who won the TMR Award for Most Improved Player last season, was named the MAAC Defensive Player of the Year. He ranked No. 33 in the country in block percentage and was No. 16 in total blocks.
In the MAAC, he was ranked No. 1 in block percentage and No. 9 in defensive rebounds.
The 6-foot-7 junior entered the transfer portal at the end of the season and will play his senior season at Wright State.
The TMR Awards are presented annually by The Mack Report. The men’s hockey awards have been presented since 2007. The men’s basketball awards were instituted in 2022.
