California Classic Open Thread – The Kings Herald

The California Classic is back! This year’s event has games in both Sacramento and in San Francisco, and the Sacramento Kings are sporting two squads so they can participate at both locations. Why are they doing this? Don’t ask me!

The Kings have two rosters, one for each location.

The San Francisco roster’s only notable name is Jordan Ford, who spent last season with the Kings on a two-way contract and is currently an unsigned free agent. The Sacramento squad features new two-way players Isaiah Crawford and Isaac Jones, as well as Keon Ellis, Colby Jones, Mason Jones. Keon Ellis will hopefully stand out as being too good for Summer League, after starting play-in games for the Sacramento Kings last season.

We will not be covering every game of the California Classic, so use this as an open thread to discuss all the games.

Go Kings!

PS. We are continuing to monitor the DeMar DeRozan situation and will have an article up as soon as something happens.
