Capitals Ground Jets, 3-0; Alex Ovechkin Scores Twice; Charlie Lindgren Records Fifth Shutout of the Season

The Washington Capitals blanked the Winnipeg Jets by a score of 3-0 in a Sunday matinee at Capital One Arena. The win improved the Capitals’ record to 35-26-9 and 79 points on the season. Goaltender Charlie Lindgren made 27 saves in his fifth shutout this season.
