CCM Hockey are gearing up to launch a fresh new line of skates in 2025 and taking the top spot in their lineup will be the new CCM Jetspeed FT8 Pro skates.
The CCM Jetspeed FT8 Pro skates will be build on what was already established with their previous line, while upgrading some key elements of the skates to improve performance.
Starting with the overall construction of the skate, the CCM Jetspeed FT8 Pro skates will utilize a new boot construction. The FT8 Pro will feature an all new FORS composite one-piece boot. This new material will be exclusive to CCM and has been developed with premium materials being woven together with a high-end core, according to CCM. The FORS composite used in the CCM Jetspeed FT8 Pro skates will improve the weight to stiffness ratio making it an excellent choice for players who are quick and agile out on the ice.
Wrapping around your foot on the CCM Jetspeed FT8 Pro skates will be the new ADPT Comfort Tongue and Tendon guard. This new tongue features ADPT memory foam along with a special ribbed channel, which work together to provide ultimate comfort wrapping around the top of your foot. In additional, a FlexMotion lace-bite design helps to prevent painful lace-bite while also maximizing forward flex with each and every stride.
Inside the boot of the CCM Jetspeed FT8 Pro skates you will find a familiar TotalDRI Pro with Polygiene liner. This liner is excellent at wicking away moisture to keep your feet dry, while the Polygiene helps to block the buildup of odor causing bacteria.
Your foot will then rest on a molded footbed with ADPT memory foam in the CCM Jetspeed FT8 Pro skates. This super lightweight footbed provides maximum comfort, while also providing solid feedback to the player. The molded fit will help keep your foot locked into the best position, and added heel grip will do its part to add additional security.
Below your foot the CCM Jetspeed FT8 Pro skates feature a lightweight composite midsole for optimal energy transfer with each and every stride. Connected to that will be a Speedblade XS holder with enhanced dial. This holder features a quick release blade with a dial that has been enhanced for faster blade changes.
Sitting in the holder will the Step Blacksteel runners, a staple in the elite level CCM skates. These runners are some of the highest quality you can find as they feature a Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) coating for tremendous grip and edge life. They also feature an added 4mm of height over traditional runners for a longer life.
