Last week when the College Football 25 patch was released, we also got multiple roster updates that added a lot of players to the game (a couple were seemingly removed for whatever reason as well). With the community’s help we’ve been able to start compiling a list of additions.

However, I thought it might be helpful to just start aggregating a list of who’s still not in the game since it’s a shorter list. I don’t think we’ll be able to 100 percent nail this down since there are a lot of college teams and many players on each team. Plus the amount of players on the real official roster may differ from how many can be included on a roster in-game due to roster size limits so we’ll make some value judgments here at times rather than list every one of the 100+ players who couldn’t make it into a game that only has 85-man rosters.
We also have a great starting point because before the update was even out, we had folks who had compiled all the players in the game (plus all the fake players) and created various spreadsheets. One person who did this was OS user FStewert24. Using their list, we know most of the players who were not in the game before this roster update, which means it’s easier to narrow down who’s still missing.
Other users like LukePurcy have also made spreadsheets if you want to create a roster for your favorite team and list out who’s in and who’s still missing.
I won’t get to every team here (at least not right away), but I’m going to prioritize the “big” teams and teams who are still missing many players for now. This will be in alphabetical order and updated in real-time so you can continue to check back.
Air Force Falcons
With the service academies, they’re apparently the trickiest ones to deal with for licensing, so you’ll see a lot of missing names for these teams. These will be the teams I list who is actually real on these rosters rather than who is missing.
