- Dark and Darker Mobile’s latest test is doubling its capacity
- Two new trailers have shown off more gameplay and backstory for the world
- There’s also the brand new Wizard class being added
Dark and Darker Mobile, the upcoming port of the cult-hit extraction ‘shooter’ by Krafton, has received two new trailers and will introduce the oft-requested Wizard class in its newest Android test. The current test, that’s running from the start of August until the 11th, will also double its capacity to accommodate even more players.
The two trailers, one showing off new gameplay and the other the game’s low-fantasy world, offer a tantalising glimpse of Dark and Darker for mobile players. Available in early access on PC courtesy of developers Ironmace, Dark and Darker was well-received by players, and Krafton quickly snapped up the opportunity to adapt it for mobile.
Dark and Darker is an extraction ‘shooter’ where you take the role of a D&D-esque adventuring party, exploring a dungeon and despatching monsters as you seek out treasure. However, you also need to escape the dungeon with life, limbs and loot intact, which is especially difficult given you aren’t the only adventurers down there either.

The addition of the Wizard class, which is purely focused on magic as you might’ve guessed, is sure to be well-received. Although much different to more martial classes, the Wizard boasts many useful combat and non-combat spells to help your party.
That’s not even getting into the new Village system, or other adjustments in this latest test. You can (or try to) join the game’s beta test over on the official website.
