- Disney Speedstorm is set to release its 12th season very soon
- And this time the theme is around the hit sequel Tron: Legacy!

It’s hard to imagine that Disney, the folks behind iconic animated franchises and middling live-action films, are also well-known for debuting one of the first motion pictures to use extensive digital effects with 1982’s Tron. And for fans of the follow-up, Tron: Legacy, the newest season of Disney Speedstorm is sure to be exciting!
Arriving March 6th, Disney Speedstorm’s latest season features a whole host of new additions to the hit racing release themed after the landmark film. Sam Flynn, Quorra, Rinzler (Tron) and Zuse (that bloke from the club in Tron: Legacy) all make an appearance wielding distinctive neon-soaked weaponry, including the iconic identity disks.
However, if you were expecting them to take to the course on the iconic lightcycle you may be disappointed as they instead make use of stylish, but still standard karts. Even so, there are new Crew Members in the form of Kevin Flynn, ISO, Jarvis and more, as well as a whole new track to enjoy!
Wot, no lightcycles?
Yes, as baffling an omission as it is, the latest season of Disney Speedstorm makes up for this misstep with what it’s bringing to the table. Season 12, On the Grid, sees the aforementioned characters making their debut as racers wielding distinctive weaponry and ultimates for each of the four.
