Dungeon Hunter 6 to launch in the SEA region very, very soon

  • Dungeon Hunter 6 is finally making the jump to the SEA region
  • It’s releasing tomorrow, as of the time of writing, September 6th
  • You’ll be able to play as six unique Bounty Hunter classes on iOS and Android.

Dungeon Hunter 6, the sixth instalment in Gameloft’s popular series (duh) will release on September 5th for the SEA region on iOS and Android. And if you’re not following, that’s tomorrow as of the time of writing! After being in the hands of international players since last year, now a whole new bunch of people will get to go hands-on with DH6 for the first time!

Dungeon Hunter 6 continues the hack-and-slash traditions of the originals. In it you’ll select one of six different classes of Bounty Hunter and explore a dangerous fantasy world where, naturally, you have to defeat an ancient evil that threatens to destroy everything.

The SEA release of Dungeon Hunter 6 promises to offer a more optimised daily task system, and altered prices for stuff like starter packs. It’s fair to say the debate over whether or not its P2W has definitely affected Dungeon Hunter 6, so it’s good to see these concerns be addressed.

Almost the darkest dungeon

It surprises me that Dungeon Hunter 6 has taken this long to get near launch in the SEA region. That’s one area of the world that seems to love this kind of hack-and-slash fantasy game. Still, it’s good to see Gameloft address the issues people’ve found with the payed elements, and hopefully that’ll help smooth out the experience for players.
