Fantasy FC has seen its return to EA FC 25. That means not only several players across the many leagues will be pooled in packs and challenges, but they’ll also receive upgrades based on their real-life performances. Like most promos, players will be released in two batches of teams.
The first set of players is already live with Team 1, and much of Team 2 has already been leaked. If you don’t have the time to tune into the many leagues to know who will receive upgrades, we’ve curated them all right here.
Below is your ultimate guide to the Fantasy FC promo in EA FC 25.
EA FC 25 Fantasy FC And Upgrades, Explained

- If the player already has 3 PlayStyle+, they will instead receive one base PlayStyle.
- +1 OVR and a third PlayStyle++ if the player’s team wins the domestic league. (SEASONAL UPGRADE)
- If the player already has 3 PlayStyle+, they will instead receive one base PlayStyle.
Since Heroes are retired players, certain player-specific upgrades, like Yellow cards, won’t be available for them. But they’ll gain all team-based performance upgrades that are tied to their mentioned club.

As for seasonal upgrades, domestic leagues are major competitions like the Premier League, La Liga, etc. Meanwhile, the primary domestic cup is the most major cup competition of each league: FA Cup for the UK, DFB Pokal for Germany, Coupe de France for France, Copa del Rey for Spain, and Coppa Italia for Italy.
Performance in the domestic cups will only count for the seasonal upgrade. For any other upgrade, like goals, it has to happen in the respective leagues.

Those were all the players in Team 1 of Fantasy FC and how far they are from the respective upgrades. So far, only Petrovic, Sancet, Son, Kvaratskhelia, and Tchouameni have received an upgrade. Expect more in the coming weeks, and by checking the upcoming schedule, you can make guesses about whether your favorite player will get stats improvements.
For many players, seasonal upgrades can be ruled out as they’re either knocked out of their respective domestic cup or far from the table toppers in the league.
Of course, expect more cards to be added in Team 2, some from the biggest teams that are poised to get an upgrade. While EA won’t announce them until Friday, February 28, we already know a lot of players that will be making it into the sheets, thanks to leaks.
