EA Sports FC 25 Features 5v5 Rush Mode, FC IQ, Women’s Career Mode

EA Sports FC 25 will feature 5v5 Rush Mode, a new overhauled tactical foundation through FC IQ and Women’s Career Mode. Rush is a brand-new 5v5 experience that utilizes the same gameplay controls and authentic mechanics as the traditional 11v11 format. Available in Football Ultimate Team, Clubs and Kick-Off, Rush is designed for group play, allowing teams of four to play together with an AI-controlled goalkeeper. For solo players, Rush offers a fast-paced experience in Manager Career mode, where you can manage Youth Academy development throughout the season with new playable 5v5 tournaments.

Rush Mode Features

FC IQ brings a comprehensive overhaul to tactical foundations in every 11v11 match, offering greater strategic control. Powered by real-world data from some of the best football teams, the new AI model enhances player tactics through innovative Player Roles. The revamp of team tactics and more realistic collective movement modernizes positioning at both ends of the pitch, reflecting each team’s real-world playing style and introducing greater variation from match to match.

In Career Mode, Live Start Points place players at the heart of major real-world storylines as they unfold, such as taking over a club following mid-season transfers or managerial changes. This year, women’s football will be included in Career Mode for the first time ever, achieving parity with men’s football across all game modes.

FC 25 will launch on September 27 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. The Ultimate Edition arrives on September 20 along with the EA Play 10 hour early access trial.
