Today, following the award ceremony of the Grand Finals of the SNK World Cup 2023, the Osaka-based developer shared new trailers of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves alongside a release window.
We learned that the game is coming in early 2025. While there’s still a long wait ahead of us, we now have a better idea of how long it’ll be.
At the moment, the platforms for the game have not been announced, and we’ll likely have to wait a little more to know which consoles will get the game.
The first trailer shows Rock Howard and Andy Bogard (who were showcased in the previous trailer) as they duke it out in a match, and we get a list of mechanics we can expect. Specifically, we see a Revving Gauge, Rev Guardd, Rev Blow, Rev Arts, and Rev Accel.
You can check it out below.
The second trailer, introduced directly by chief producer Yasuyuki Oda, is perhaps even more exciting. It focuses on the characters and on top of showing Rock Howard and Andy Bogard, it reveals Hotaru Futaba, Tizoc, and Preecha.
While Hotaru Futaba and Tizoc are returning characters, Preecha is brand new, and she’s the first new character revealed for the game. The trailer has not been published on its own at the moment of this writing, but you can watch at the end of the recording of the livestream.
Interestingly, Oda-san mentioned that the game will be playable at EVO Japan, so those who are interested in an early demo, may want to consider attending.
