Fans have demanded that FOX Sports cut ties with host Joy Taylor after she slammed Aaron Rodgers for being disrespectful to the Pittsburgh Steelers organization.
Taylor has endured a tough start to 2025 after being named in a 42-page lawsuit filed by a former FOX employee, and is now facing backlash for calling out Rodgers. Despite still being a free agent, Rodgers has been heavily linked with the Steelers and was questioned by Taylor after OTA workouts got underway without him.
“Why?! Why?! This is the Pittsburgh Steelers,” Taylor exclaimed on FS1. “They have six Lombardi’s. They’re coached by first-ballot Hall of Famer Mike Tomlin who has never had a losing season.
“And we’re sitting around talking about Aaron Rodgers is not there on the first day of OTAs. Mandatory or not, where’s your pride? Where’s your dignity? Where’s your respect for the game? Where’s your respect for this organization? Where’s this organization’s respect for the history they have in this league?
“What are we talking about? He’s never played there before! He doesn’t know any of these teammates. He doesn’t know the streets to get to the facility. He doesn’t know the doctors, the rehab crew. He doesn’t know anybody! He doesn’t know anybody. He doesn’t know where to get his smoothies. Nothing. Why would you not be there?
“Why am I supposed to take this seriously? It’s not about him not being at non-mandatory OTAs for a team that he’s been with for 22 years, do what you want to do. You won five games last year.
“The year before that you didn’t play because you tore your Achilles. The year before that you missed the playoffs. What are we talking about?”
Taylor’s comments come just days after Rodgers revealed on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ that personal issues have led to his delay in signing with a team ahead of next season. In response, some fans have hit back and suggested that Taylor should be removed.
“I’m confused. Has he signed with Steelers? What is she talking about?” One fan wrote. “Probably the worst take she’s ever had lol,” another replied. “How did she get this job?” Another questioned.

Rodgers is still heavily linked with the Steelers and has admitted that the organization and head coach Mike Tomlin have been made aware of his current mindset. Rodgers has cited personal issues as his reason for delaying the process, and said to Rogan: “I’ve been in the weeds with these people who are close to me that have cancer.
Rodgers also admitted to speaking with several teams, but has been honest about his situation. “I told every single one of the teams, it ain’t about the money,” Rodgers said on ‘The Pat McAfee Show.’ “I said I’ll play for $10 million. Whatever. I’m open to anything and attached to nothing. Retirement could still be a possibility. Focus on personal life.
“This entire time, I haven’t felt like I owed anybody a decision at any point. I’ve said listen, if you need to move on and do something, love and respect. But there’s been no deadline. I’ve talked to Mike T [Tomlin] many times.”
