The popular turn-based RPG Honkai: Star Rail will soon receive a new location, a planet named Penacony, and today’s trailer is all about that.
Also known as “the Planet of Festivities,” Penacony certainly appears to be a rather lively location, and the video showcases its attractions in a slightly unexpected way.
Instead of taking a look at gameplay, we’re treated to a retro-style promotional cartoon which also feels like an homage to the Loki TV show.
In the cartoon, we meet a mascot character named Clockie (voiced in English by Niko Gerentes and in Japanese by Kohei Yanagi) who introduces some of the locations and attractions of Penacony.
You can check it out below and see if it amplifies your eagerness to visit the planet, which will be introduced with the upcoming version 2.0 of Honkai: Star Rail.
The crew of the Astral Express has been invited to visit Penacony alongside a number of factions that populate the game’s story. Among them, there is the Ever-Flaming Mansion of the Annihilation Gang, who we just met yesterday and aptly intends to annihilate the planet.
Honkai: Star Rail is currently available on PC, PS5, iOS, and Android. It’s a free-to-play game, but there are plenty of microtransactions if you’re interested in partaking.

If you’d rather have something completely new, you may be interested in Zenless Zone Zero, which is upcoming for PC, iOS, and Android. The game is currently undergoing its second beta test titled “Equalizing Test“ and doesn’t have an announced release date just yet.
