The transfer portal for college basketball opened on Monday, March 24 and closes on Tuesday, April 22. As of today, there are 15 days left to enter the portal.
Seven scholarship players from Indiana’s 2024-25 roster entered the transfer portal following a coaching change from Mike Woodson to Darian DeVries. Four of those players have already chosen new schools.

Here’s a current look at the transfer portal commitments for the Hoosiers and the names that have been linked to IU in no particular order:

Tucker DeVries, West Virginia, 6-foot-7, wing
2024-25 stats: 14.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.5 blocks in 34.5 minutes per game. Shot 47.3. percent on 3s and 82.1 percent from the free throw line.

Notes: The son of new IU coach Darian DeVries, Tucker has not formally announced his commitment, nor has IU announced his signing. However, DeVries will be a Hoosier.
Conor Enright, DePaul, 6-foot-2, guard
2024-25 stats: 7.5 points, 6.2 assists, 3.3 rebounds in 30.1 minutes per game. Shot 32.5 percent on 3s and 63.3 percent from the free throw line.

Notes: Enright committed to Indiana on April 2 just days after completing a visit to Bloomington.
Reed Bailey, Davidson, 6-foot-10, forward
2024-25 stats: 18.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 0.8 blocked shots in 33.3 minutes per game. Shot 47.7 percent from the field, 41.5 percent on 3s and 76.8 percent from the free throw line.

Lamar Wilkerson, Sam Houston, 6-foot-5, guard
2024-25 stats: 20.5 points, four rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 34.9 minutes per game. Shot 47.7 percent from the field, 44.5 percent on 3s and 82.2 percent from the free throw line.

Notes: One of the top shooters in the transfer portal, Wilkerson was an All-Conference USA first team selection last season and is a top portal priority for the IU coaching staff.
Nijel Pack, Miami (FL), 6-foot, guard
2024-25 stats: 13.9 points, 4.3 assists and three rebounds in 31 minutes per game. Shot 45.4 percent from the field, 38.6 percent on 3s and 83.3 percent from the free throw line.

Notes: Reports surfaced on Sunday that Indiana is one of several schools in the mix for Pack, who helped lead Miami (FL) to the 2023 Final Four.

2024-25 stats: 18.9 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.7 steals in 30.9 minutes per game. Shot 58.7 percent from the field, 45.6 percent on 3s and 80.7 percent from the free throw line.

Notes: Indiana is one of several high-major schools that have expressed interest in Freeman, who was a star this past season at the Division II level and is looking to move up.

2024-25 stats: 13.8 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 31.1 minutes per game. Shot 43.4 percent from the field, 37.4 percent on 3s and 81.4 percent from the free throw line.
