As of late yesterday, was told the Knicks hadn’t asked permission, formally or informally, to interview Jason Kidd.

My position on Jason Kidd to Knicks is that it absolutely makes sense if he and Giannis are trying to back channel their way into a big-market reunion, but if they’re just hiring him for this roster, I’d probably pass. – 1:27 PM
