Josh Giddey thinks he owns around 200 jackets

But I do just have to ask: generally, when you get traded, it’s jarring. What has the overall transition been like, especially coming to a new organization with new people and new faces? Has it been pretty smooth for you?” JOSH GIDDEY: “Yeah, it’s been smooth. It’s obviously daunting at the start because you don’t know anyone. You’ve got to go into a whole new environment, meet everyone again, and start from scratch. Nobody knows you. That was the one thing I was anxious about—coming over and not knowing anyone. But the guys made it really easy for me. When I first got here, on the very first day, Coby [White] hit me up. Me, him, and Pat [Williams] went out to lunch and got to know each other. We sat there for a couple of hours, just talking and getting to know each other. The guys made the transition really, really smooth. At the time, not everyone was back in Chicago yet, so I slowly started to meet everybody as they rolled through. But the people here—the players, coaches, front office, and everyone around the building—were all unbelievable and very, very welcoming. It’s been a very easy place to fit in.” -via YouTube / December 12, 2024
