Joy Taylor – the host of ‘Speak’ alongside Paul Pierce and Keyshawn Johnson on FS1 following her two-week absence – had quite a bit of fun on Thursday at the Beyonce concert at SoFi Stadium.
Last week, Taylor was in the news because her nephew Mason Taylor was selected in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft by the New York Jets out of LSU.
Now, Taylor is attracting attention for taking a few slips at the Beyonce show. She chronicled the events to her over 800,000 Instagram followers.
“So I fell 5 times last night,” she posted on her story Friday, along with a series of fits from the evening. “Not drunk. My boot kept getting caught in these damn fringes. If you saw me on the ground at Sofi do not be alarmed I just can’t walk properly… Scraped my hand on this fall.”
“Worth it for the fit,” she added in a follow-up. Taylor shared some photos of herself alongside current ESPN and NFL Network host M.J. Acosta-Ruiz.
Taylor, 38, is the sister of Pro Football Hall of Fame defensive end Jason Taylor. Before his son Mason (and her nephew) was drafted, Joy spoke glowingly about Mason as a prospect.
“He’s projected first or second round, so I think Warren is obviously across the board projected to go in the first round from the tight ends, but he’s a first or second-rounder depending on who you ask, and obviously depending on what team, and how the draft unfolds. I’m excited,” Joy Taylor said on ‘Speak’ last week.
“I’m excited for him, but I’m nervous because for 15 years, I watched this sport with a severe emotional attachment to my brother, and since he retired in 2011, I have been able to watch it without that, and now it’s back.”
When Mason Taylor was drafted, Taylor posted an enthusiastic “LFGGGGGGGG!” to her Instagram story. He’ll compete with Jeremy Rucket for the starting gig in New York.
