An angry-looking Chris Eubank Jr. stared holes through Conor Benn at their ceremonial weigh-in today, in response to being mocked by him and his promoter Eddie Hearn for missing weight for their headliner clash this Saturday, April 26th, in London.
Price to Pay
The way Eubank Jr. looked at Benn during the face-off had a letter of intent written all over it. He was letting him know he’s going to beat him worse than Cedrick Peynaud did in 2018. Eubank Jr. is going to take that $500K out on his soft hide on Saturday night. I almost feel sorry for Benn already because Eubank Jr. looks like he’s going to tear him apart.
You could tell that Eubank Jr. is bothered by Benn and Hearn both letting him have it for coming in overweight. They both made sure they pointed out that he’s losing money from this incident. It was only a measly half ounce that Eubank Jr. came in over the 160-lb limit.
Coming in overweight cost Eubank Jr. a cool $500,000, and that cash is going to Benn (23-0, 14 KOs). He’s obviously pleased with the extra dough to go along with the fat $10M paycheck that he’s already getting for their 12-round main event on DAZN PPV.
“Show me the motherf****** money,” said Conor Benn on X, mocking Chris Eubank Jr. for missing weight, and letting him know he’s going to gain financially from the weight penalty.

Payback Brewing
Eubank Jr. (34-3, 25 KOs) is going to be strong after he rehydrates for the fight, and will be in attack mode. Benn doesn’t belong inside the same ring with a middleweight talent like Eubank Jr. Fans are going to find that out awfully quickly when the fight starts.
Conor, 28, has no business fighting at 160, as he lacks the size and talent to compete. I question whether Hearn even believes in his fighter Conor. If he really thought he could beat a top contender like Eubank Jr, he’d have already matched him with top-tier fighters at 147.
Benn is a nine-year pro, and has NEVER fought a contender before. What does that tell you? It suggests that he’s a creation to make money from fans of his famous father, Nigel. It’s smoke and mirrors junk.
