“Hearing over 400,000 people boo Tom Brady was a real highlight of the day,” she wrote on her Instagram story. “I’m sorry, but I have Colts blood running through my veins. The finger was a bit much, my bad.”
Brady managed to laugh off the boos just as he did during his NFL career, and hit back at Colts fans when posting on social media. The former seven-time Super Bowl champion uploaded a photo alongside Johnson as he thanked the NASCAR legend when reflecting on his experience.
“What an incredible experience at Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend,” Brady wrote. “Thanks to the @foxsports family for putting on an incredible show, and to my friend, the best driver in the world and 7x champion @jimmiejohnson for letting me tag along as we led out the pack.
“I’ll be back, and next time I’m driving!!! PS: it was great to get in one more successful drive in front of a bunch of Colts fans.”
Brady and Manning are considered to be among the best quarterbacks in history, although there are discrepancies in their success. Brady won seven Super Bowl championships while Manning only won two, but they fared differently when it came to individual honors.
Manning won the MVP award on five occasions, more than any other player in NFL history. Despite winning the Super Bowl more times than any other player, Brady was named MVP just three times throughout his career.

Both quarterbacks made the Pro Bowl fourteen or more times in their careers, and both were selected to the NFL 100th Anniversary All-Time Team in 2019. Brady and Manning are also the only starting quarterbacks to win Super Bowls with multiple franchises, and are forever associated throughout history.
Brady became a New England Patriots legend, and even managed to win the Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before retiring. Manning enjoyed success with the Colts before winning a championship with the Denver Broncos, but was regularly second-best to Brady in the AFC Conference.
Manning and Brady played each other on 17 occasions throughout their NFL careers, with Brady winning the overall head-to-head series 11–6. However, Manning had the edge over Brady in playoff match-ups.
