Merrimack recruit Brendan Johnson was named the Baltimore Catholic League Player of the Year.
“I’m honored, especially understanding the history behind this league and especially with my school being one of the oldest. It’s just a blessing and an honor,” he told The Baltimore Sun.
The 6-foot-3 shooting guard committed to the Warriors in November. He averaged 26.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 2.0 steals per game this season and shot 48 percent from the floor and 36 percent from 3-point range.
