MLB The Show 25 is now out, and baseball fans everywhere are rushing to their consoles to see all of the new features available in the game. While Sony has added a plethora of improvements and innovations to MLB The Show, one thing that hasn’t changed is the code system. Codes are available in MLB The Show 25 and they offer players some incredible — and free — rewards.
However, learning what the codes are, how to redeem them, and where to look for new codes can make it difficult to claim the free rewards. Unlike other games with code systems, MLB The Show doesn’t make it easy to redeem the codes in-game. You have to go through a couple of extra hoops but don’t worry, as you can see all of the active codes and how to redeem them in MLB The Show 25 in the guide below.
All MLB The Show 25 Codes
At the time of writing, MLB The Show 25 is still in its early access stage. This is the period of time when players who pre-ordered the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game get to play up to four days early before the worldwide release date on March 18. While this gives some players time to start their Diamond Dynasty early or complete an entire Road to the Show playthrough, it also means no codes are floating around.
The developers have seemingly decided to hold off on putting any codes into MLB The Show 25 until the worldwide release. Even when that date comes, though, there’s no guarantee that codes will be available in the game right away. We’ll have to wait and see when Sony wants to start promoting codes and giving players free rewards.
In all likelihood, we can expect to see a few codes start floating around later in March. However, during early access and at the official launch, there likely won’t be any codes to redeem. You can expect to see rewards that offer packs, equipment, currency, and maybe some Road to the Show Tokens.

How To Redeem MLB The Show 25 Codes
Once you have a code that you want to redeem, you’ll need to know the entire redemption process so you can easily claim the reward associated with that code. However, as I alluded to earlier, there are some extra hoops to jump through in MLB The Show 25 before you can redeem a code.
Follow the steps below to redeem your codes:
- MLB The Show 25 codes are not redeemed through the game itself. There is no “Codes” section in the menus where you can input a code and immediately receive your rewards
- Instead, you have to visit the MLB The Show codes website and log into your The Show account. Then, log into your console account to link the two together
- When you log in with your console account, make sure you’re using the same account you purchased MLB The Show 25 on. Otherwise, your rewards will go to an empty account
- Once you are logged into your accounts and they are linked together, follow the prompts to redeem a code using the text box that appears on your screen
- Copy and paste the code from the list above and then hit “Enter”
- If your reward was accepted, you’ll receive a message saying the code was successfully redeemed
- From there, your reward will be transferred to your MLB The Show 25 account
- You can claim the reward in MLB The Show 25 through your “Inbox,” which can be accessed via the main menu or your profile
In most cases, codes don’t take too long to arrive in your MLB The Show 25 Inbox after you have redeemed them through The Show website. However, you might have to restart the application on your console to see the reward appear in your Inbox.

If you’re wondering about the best way to stay up-to-date about new codes in MLB The Show 25, aside from checking this guide every so often, there are a couple of sources to check.
The easiest is to go to the official MLB The Show social media accounts, namely on X/Twitter. Here, the developers will often let players know of new codes that are added to the game. You can also check the official MLB The Show website for any news about codes or just general updates.
New codes are added to MLB The Show 25 sparingly, so don’t expect free rewards too often. However, you’ll often see them released around major events in the real world, so maybe when the MLB season kicks off we’ll see our first batch of codes drop.
