In NBA 2K25 badges allow players to improve areas of their games in many different categories such as defense, playmaking, and shooting, among others.
There are many badges in NBA 2K25 and all of them have different requirements. Players need to fit certain requirements to unlock and equip badges, with the requirements being tied to a player’s height and attributes.

Badge Requirements in NBA 2K25
As mentioned above, badge requirements are always connected to a player’s height and attribute stats. A player can’t unlock and equip all of the badges in the game in a single MyPLAYER build. For that to be possible all attributes would need to be at 99.
There are five badge tiers in NBA 2K25, bronze, silver, gold, HoF, and legend. All of the badges in NBA 2K25 have these five tiers, but the requirements for each tier vary from badge to badge.
The highest badge tier a player can reach depends on the cap of that specific attribute. Players can have an 80 mid-range attribute and need 85 to reach the next tier. However, if their mid-range attribute cap is 84 they won’t have access to the next tier of that badge.
There are six types of badges, shooting, playmaking, finishing, defense, rebounding, and general. Players can find out the requirements for each one of them below, starting with the shooting badges.
