NBA announces Celtics Summer League schedule

If you’re making plans to hit Sin City to catch the Summer Celtics, mark your calendars with these dates:

  • Friday, July 11th vs. Memphis Grizzlies at 4 p.m. ET (NBATV)
  • Sunday, July 13th vs. Detroit Pistons at 4 p.m. ET (ESPN2)
  • Monday, July 14th vs. Miami Heat at 8 p.m. ET (ESPNU)
  • Thursday, July 17th vs. Los Angeles Lakers at 9 p.m. ET (ESPN)

The roster is shaping up to include a few vets from the big club with Baylor Scheierman and Jordan Walsh heading to Vegas with recent second round draft picks Amari Williams and Max Shulga. They’re joined by some recent invites including current two-way player Miles Norris and undrafted rookies like Penn State’s Zach Hicks, Gonzaga’s Ben Gregg and St. John’s Aaron Scott.

As of now, it’s unclear if first round pick Hugo Gonzalez or one of last year’s two-ways, Drew Peterson, will join the Summer C’s.

After the four-game slate, every team will have a fifth; the top-4 will compete in a single elimination playoff to determine the desert champ.
