The Brooklyn Nets have decided to retire the number 15 jersey of Vince Carter, one of the most iconic players of the former New Jersey Nets. The franchise made the announcement in a series of posts on its X Channel. Carter is the eighth player in franchise history to receive the honor. During his career, Vince Carter wore a Nets jersey from 2004 to 2009 and finished as the third all-time leading scorer in franchise history.
