In a post-game interview, the team’s superstar, Nikola Jokic, talked about how the team pulled through for a great season and what he is looking forward to most during their brief break. “A lot of trusting each other. I think our defense, especially after the break, is good. We are running much better. Playing together more, it’s probably just [about] experience too,” Jokic said about the 57-25 record of the Nuggets. More important on Jokic’s agenda were his plans for the break. “It’s good. To be honest, I am excited. I need to hurry home,” the center said. “We opened a pool yesterday or two days ago, so I am kind of excited to spend a couple of days with my daughter on the pool.
