Rangers moments from the 2024-25 season that didn’t suck, part 3

The Rangers’ 2024-25 season stunk. Plain and simple. However, there were enough Rangers moments that were fun and, dare I say, good moments to warrant three posts about moments that weren’t absolutely soul-crushing and brutal. There were a bunch, enough to make a third post (Part 1, Part 2). Despite the doom and gloom around the Rangers, we should still be able to take a step back and recognize some things that were good about last season.

Braden Schneider’s OT Winner Vs Minnesota

Braden Schneider roofs a backhand over the Minnesota Wild goaltender’s head to win a huge game for the Rangers in OT!

Shesterkin Shuts Out Columbus, Propels Rangers To Playoff Spot

A week after getting stomped by the Blue Jackets at home, the Rangers stormed into Columbus and won 4-0 to take control of the second WC spot. Igor with hit 5th shutout, Trocheck with 2 goals, Panarin with a multi point game and Alexis Lafreniere got back on the scoresheet!

Rangers Beat Canucks on Sam Rosen Tribute Day

The New York Rangers honored longtime play-by-play man Sam Rosen with a pre-game ceremony, and the Rangers themselves won as well! Winning a big game for Sam, Jonny Brodzinski would score twice, K’Andre Miller would add a bouncer of a goal and J.T. Miller potted home the empty netter against his former team!

Rangers Obliterate Islanders, Sweep Season Series

The Rangers stormed into UBS Arena and laid down the law by dropping NINE goals on the New York Islanders and sweeping the season series. Goals by Mika Zibanejad, Will Cuylle, Vincent Trocheck, Artemi Panarin (2x), Brett Berard (2x), Jusso Parssinen, and Alexis Lafreniere.
