Adam Henrique (2-0—2) scored twice in the first period and Oilers captain Connor McDavid (3-14—17 in 10 GP) collected a primary assist in the middle frame to extend his assist streak to eight games as the Oilers inched closer to back-to-back appearances in the Conference Finals for the first time since a three-year stretch from 1990 to 1992.

HURRICANES TAKE 3-1 SERIES LEAD, ON THE CUSP OF CONFERENCE FINALS BERTH
The Hurricanes followed up a shutout performance in Game 3 with a five-goal outing in Game 4 thanks to stars Seth Jarvis (1-0—1) and Sebastian Aho (0-1—1), as Carolina captured its fifth straight home win to start the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs and moved within one victory of the franchise’s sixth appearance in the Conference Finals.

*Jarvis scored the game’s second goal and Carolina’s eighth consecutive tally at home dating to Game 5 of the First Round – the longest stretch of consecutive home goals in franchise history, ahead of a seven-goal run in 2024. He boosted his career postseason totals to 16-19—35 and tied the Hurricanes/Whalers benchmark for most playoff points by a player at age 23 or younger (also Aho: 14-21—35).

JETS AIM TO EVEN SERIES AGAINST STARS IN TUESDAY’S GAME 4
Josh Morrissey and the Jets will have the opportunity to tie their Second Round series during Game 4 at American Airlines Center on Tuesday, while Matt Duchene and the Stars can move within one win of the Western Conference Final.
* Kyle Connor has found the score sheet in each of the Jets’ past three road games – including a tying goal in Game 3 on Sunday – but will look to help his club grab its first playoff win as visitors since Game 1 of the 2023 First Round in Las Vegas. * Rantanen is two points shy of becoming the first player to 20 points this postseason, propelled by outputs of three-plus points in five of his past six games. Rantanen can tie for the fourth-fewest contests by an active player to reach the 20-point mark in a playoff year and can set a new Stars/North Stars benchmark for fastest to the plateau – that benchmark is currently held by Payne (13 GP in 1981).
