Report: Indiana reaches out to Grand Canyon transfer big man Duke Brennan – Inside the Hall


Indiana is one of the latest schools to reach out to Grand Canyon transfer forward Duke Brennan.

Dushawn London of 247Sports reported the contact between the Hoosier staff and Brennan early Monday morning.

The 6-foot-10, 250-pound big man averaged 10.4 points and 9.2 rebounds last season for the Lopes. He shot 64.6 percent from the field and 65.4 percent from the free-throw line.

Brennan has one season of eligibility remaining.

Over his three-year career – two seasons at Grand Canyon and one at Arizona State – Brennan has career averages of 6.4 points and 5.9 rebounds in 19.1 minutes per game. He’s appeared in 101 games and has made 66 starts.

Last season at Grand Canyon, he scored in double figures 19 times and had 10 double-doubles.

He was the best offensive rebounder in the Western Athletic Conference, with an offensive rebounding percentage of 15.7 in league games. He ranked second in defensive rebounding percentage – 24.4 – in conference games.

His offensive rebounding percentage for the season of 14.7 ranked 23rd nationally, according to KenPom.com.

A native of Chandler, Arizona, Brennan played at Hillcrest Prep in Arizona and was a member of the 2022 recruiting class. He was ranked the 200th best prospect nationally by the 247Sports Composite rankings.
